Revelation
This song was written as a chidren's song. It speaks of the process of revelation. I submitted it to the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as part of their music competition. It did not receive any awards, but my family gave it
high approval ratings.
As I've tried to teach my children the importance of gospel living and particularly the power of the Holy Ghost, I am often asked,
'But Dad, how do I know if the Holy Ghost is speaking to me?'. This song is my attempt to explain how the Holy Ghost can speak to us.
It can speak to us in many ways, and one of the important lessons in life for each of us to learn is how to recognize the voice of God in our
lives. To my children, and someday, grandchildren, I hope this song helps them learn how to recognize the Holy Ghost in their lives.
