Nimble

Nimble is a really fun song to play. It is a more difficult piece to play, especially at the speed in the recording. It has a Spanish influence to it. With a bossa nova-like rythm in the bass, it creates a rythm that my kids dance to every time I play it. I purposefully used off-beat syncopation in many sections to give it an extra kick. I named it 'Nimble' because of the section of broken triads that will make your wrists and forearms tired if you practice it too many times! It requires nimble finger work. When I play it, I often repeat the song over and over, throwing in an ad-lib section, and playing those broken triads as fast as I possibly can. If you pick up the speed and play with lots of energy, I guarantee it will be a blast to play, and everyone in the house will be dancing!
