Jesus Once of Humble Birth
This hymn is one of my favorites. This is my go-to piece for Christmas and Easter. It has such a powerful
message in the lyrics. I tried to encorporate that message in the music.
The piece starts out with very humble beginnings. The piece starts out in the treble range to symbolize the little
baby Jesus in a humble manger. The second verse symbolizes His ministry. The sound begins to build a little
and drops an octave. The third verse symbolizes when He will come again. It is purposefully much more powerful and forceful,
symbolizing His triumphant victory over sin and death. When He comes again, it will not be in humble circumnstances, but He will
return as the King of Kings!
