A Marvelous Work (Piano Solo)

This rousing piece is meant to capture the wonder, glory, and awe that is the 'Mavelous Work and a Wonder' the Lord describes in Doctrine and Covenants section 4. It is an arrangement of the choir piece I composed of the same name.

I remember reciting this section thousands of times as a missionary. It has powerful meaning for all of us engaged in the latter-day 'work and wonder'. The 'Marvelous Work and a Wonder' that is described in the scriptures is the establishment of God's kindgom on the earth during this last dispensation.

We are all called to labor in the vineyard with 'faith, hope, charity, and love, with an eye single to the glory of God.'

May this piece help us all remember the truly marvelous and wonderful work we are engaged in.
