Christ Has Won The Victory
This arrangement combines the hymns 'There is a Green Hill Far Away' and 'He Is Risen'. I wrote it as an Easter medley.
The combined message of these two hymns tells of the crucifixion and resurrection of the Savior that first Easter weekend. I
added a section at the end which was meant to be symbolic of the announcement of the Savior's resurrection to the world. It starts with just the
sopranos and builds. When Christ announced His resurrection, he did so by first telling Mary and asking her to tell others. The
section grows and is meant to represent our modern-day voices of praise, worship, and gratitude for the miracle of the resurrection.
